Vintage 8 Lug Aluminum Slot Mag Wheels 16.5X8.25 Pickup Truck Chevy

This is a vintage pair of 16.5X8.25 8 lug slotted aluminum wheels from the 60's or 70's. The bolt pattern is 8 on 6.5 inches which is common to most 3/4 and 1 ton trucks of the era. Many hot rodders also used 8 lug rear ends in drag cars due to their strength. I think that is the case with these wheels as they had very old slicks on them and it also explains why it is a pair instead of 4. These wheels would be a great period correct choice for a vintage build. Don't miss this awesome wheels.
These wheels are in good original condition as shown. Both wheels have been spun on a tire machine and run straight and true. There are no breaks, repairs, or modifications. There is also no major corrosion/pitting. All lug holes are in good shape and the threads for center cap mounting are in good shape. The back sides of the wheels are cast, "16.5 X 8.25" which makes me believe these are either Appliance or US mag brand wheels. That said, there were so many wheel companies back then it is hard to say who they were made by. One thing is for sure, these are awesome vintage wheels in good original condition.
