TOMY (Ertl) Haying Set (tractor baler wagon) LP68178 1/32 scale -- new

I have for sale a TOMY (parent of quality toy maker Ertl) John Deere haying set 1/32 scale. The haying set is new in box and never removed from its box, which is damage free. The set components are a tractor & a hay baler & a hay wagon.
TOMY has somewhat of a reputation for putting together sets of lower quality, certainly not up to the quality of Ertl of old. These TOMY sets are more play toys than collectibles. However, not this set
. The three set components are all original Ertl quality. (Except for the 12 included tacky plastic "hay bales".) To wit ...
The tractor is a quality Ertl John Deere 4020, Ertl number 45273 (I think). All die-cast metal except for the wheels, tires, and part of the 3-point hitch. It has parallelogram steering, a rarity for model tractors, see pic #3. It also has a fully functional 3-point hitch and with an eye drawbar which can also be rotated away from the 3-point hitch, also see pic #3. The 3-point hitch is shown in pic #4 with the eye drawbar rotated away. A typical 3-point hitch implement is shown mounted in pic #5. Overall, a very nice high-quality model tractor.
The hay baler is a quality Ertl John Deere 348, Ertl number 5639. Its chassis is die-cast metal and the body is plastic. When towed the rotating wheels will make hay bales move through the discharge chute. A minor Ertl design oversight is the discharge chute will not reach the towed hay wagon, see pic #9.
The hay wagon is a quality Ertl John Deere wagon, Ertl number 4167. Its chassis and bed are die-cast metal and the rear rack is plastic.
About those 12 included tacky plastic "hay bales" ... well, whatever. The hay wagon pic shows some realistic model hay bales. You can buy the same here ...
